Will your Résumé Hit the Target?

Updated: 2 days ago

Targeting your CV for a specific job is crucial.

Many applicants are very talented in several areas and believe it improves their chances if their CV reflects all this variety and potential. However, writing one CV for everything they could do can make them seem indecisive about what they want to be doing.

You don’t want employers to think you are “flakey." They need to be sure you know what you want to do and are confident you can do the job they are advertising.

It's far more effective to aim your CV towards a specific role, using your transferrable skills and background to produce a CV that hits the target every time.

A focused CV shows confidence and clarity.

For example, if you have a background in office management you could be a receptionist, an HR assistant, an admin officer, or provide project management support. You could do all these things very successfully, but if you try to produce one CV that covers all these roles, you could confuse the CV scanning software and lose out on the job.

That’s where my years of experience and expertise comes in.

I can help you secure the role through a targeted CV.

It doesn’t cost anything to book a video chat with me, where we can discuss your future plans and potential, and work out a strategy to hit that mark.

You’ve got nothing to lose, except your dream job.
